Whistleblowing (Disclosing wrongdoing in the Public Interest) carries a penalty of unlimited compensation from an Employment Tribunal. Employees are also protected from the first day of employment, providing the disclosure is "protected". This policy is designed to comply with the latest legislation and best practice from case law, and can be easily adapted to suit any organisation. The Policy provides the latest guidance to employees, in addition to definitions and examples of the various types of disclosure and how to raise a whistleblowing concern at work or with external authorities. The Policy sets out the Company's approach to ensure Employees are aware and comply with the standards required.
